Year 2 Visit to Rainham Hall

During a recent visit to Rainham Hall the children were able to participate in three activities. First, they explored the house and the history behind it, acting as children from the past. Next, they toured the gardens and found and picked fruit.

Lastly, the children made seed bombs. They used soil, flour and water to create the balls and then added fennel seeds. When we arrived back to school the children threw the seed bombs and will watch them grow. It was an exciting trip which linked to our exciting topic of plants.
