  • Year 2 Trip to the Tower of London

    On Thursday 23rd January, we had an incredible trip to the Tower of London. The children had a fantastic time discovering the rich history of this iconic landmark and learning all about its fascinating past. We explored the various towers, delving into the stories of its past residents, including the famous Crown Jewels and the ancient White Tower. There was so much to see and learn, from the medieval fortress to the tales of kings and queens, and even the famous ravens that guard the tower. It was an unforgettable day of exploration and history!

  • Year 6 Visit to Borough Market

    On Tuesday 21st February, Year 6 pupils visited Borough Market and Tate Britain. At Borough Market, they explored one of London’s oldest food markets, learning about fresh produce, sustainability, and different cuisines. The visit to Tate Britain allowed them to experience British art, including works by famous artists like J.M.W. Turner and William Blake. The trip provided a hands-on, educational experience that connected food, culture, and art, enriching the students' learning and sparking their creativity.

    Phonics Mentors Reward

    Our Phonics Mentors have received their first rewards for regularly leading the Phonics Reading Hut during lunchtimes.Each mentor received a token for the GPFS book vending machine and selected a book of their choice.
